| Fairly typical accomodation for a Hib slave. The opening faces the direction of the prevailing wind (in this case there is a river estuary behind me, other examples face down a vally). Note also the large hole in the roof coverd by a big mushroom leaf proped on 12 inch stones. I believe that this is a deliberate part of making life uncomfortable and degrading for the slave. As we see here this one preferes not to stay in the hovel. |
