Belladana was one of a pair of twins born to a wealthy Erudite family. She was brought up surrounded by magic, as her father and mother are both respected enchanters. Being highly intelligent, Dana quickly grasped the basics and looked for an area to specialise in. Initially, she considered following her parents into the family business and becoming an enchanter herself. However, she always felt frustrated that she had so little control over her pet and quickly became bored with illusions and charms. Dana always had the desire to kill things quickly with a powerful spell and as she matured these felling grew with her until she could resist them no longer and enrolled to study as a wizard. After learning the essential spells of her chosen profession she contacted her cousin Belladora the druid, who agreed to look after her for a few weeks and show her some of the sights of Norrath.
