Belladala was born in Freeport into a family of entertainers. her mother and father were both bards, but fell on hard times and had to hire themselves out for raids. Unfortunately, on the second raid while Dala was still a child, they were both killed and Dala's peaceful existance was shattered. She had to live by begging and often struggled to get enough to eat. However, she never lost her love of music and spent many happy hours sitting outside the bard guild listening to the wonderful sounds coming from within. Occasionally, she would scrape up enough PP to buy a damaged instrument, and after repairing it, would play it for a couple of hours befor selling it to a local merchant. Dala was often cold, hungry and miserable. One day while out begging she met Belladona and her life changed forever. Now she has a family again and is truly happy. She never stops singing.
